In Profile: Glenburn Second Flush

While my husband and I shared tea with our friends, we did a fair amount of talking. We compared the things we tasted, smelled, or saw in each tea. Each tea had a general consensus, and with Second Flush the consensus was a floral aroma, such as lavender or jasmine.

Glenburn Second Flush, from the award winning Glenburn Tea Estate in India, is a huge favorite at Queen’s Pantry Teas. This tea has the unusual ability to please just about every set of taste buds. My very favorite cake recipe is from Swans Down Cake Flour Company, and according to their site, it is also the most requested recipe they have! The recipe is called 1-2-3-4 Pound Cake and that in itself should give you a clue as to why I love it so much. It’s simple, made with ingredients I always have on hand, and is always a huge hit. The Magic of an Iced Latte

I love a good iced latte. Creamy, sweet, and full of coffee it’s hard to beat a good iced latte. Iced lattes bring a little bit of magic and a whole lot of fun to even the most blistering of summer days. And, when that latte is made with tea instead of coffee (sorry-not-sorry, I’m a little biased), it is even better.Iced Highland Hearth Latte
This recipe has quickly become our favorite iced latte this summer. Easy, quick, and delicious, it’s a winner during the active summer months! We used Highland Hearth Rooibos for this, but you can easily substitute any tea of your preference. We’ve been told that Creme Brulee, Amaretto, and Paris all work really well for this.
